Job Description

• Research listed equities in Vietnam for the purpose of making fundamental investment recommendations;
• Evaluate investment opportunities and risks; identifying good investment opportunities;
• Present investment ideas to the investment team and fund managers;
• Collect financial and investment information about industries, companies and stocks;
• Examine and analyze collected financial and investment information and perform analytical modeling;
• Perform valuation and risk analysis;
• Write company and industry reports for the use of the internal investment team;
• Meet and build relationships with company management, industry contacts and sell-side analysts;
• Keep investment team fully up-to-date on all industry and company specific news flow/developments.

Qualification

• A minimum 3 years experience in either buy or sell side investment research;
• Good understanding of Vietnam listed equities. Candidates with emerging market public equity experience will also be considered;
• Strong financial and accounting knowledge;
• Strong English speaking and writing skills;
• Strong work ethic that can work autonomously and be accountable for their work;
• Ability to deliver in a high performance culture operating under time-sensitive deadlines;
• Detail oriented with an ability to produce high-quality work with a high degree of accuracy;
• Confidence to challenge, be challenged and ability to persuade colleagues in the pursuit of excellence;
• Conduct in line with our Guiding Principles of Integrity, Partnership and High Performance;
• Candidates that are CFA Charter holders, working towards their CFA or with Masters Degree are preferred
